  1. Dat ass do.

Sorry i couldnt help myself. Ill let myself out.

  2. I don't understand. Can someone who does re-explain this but with dumber words?

  3. Something just said itself… It takes more words when made more simple: the median form of what's being conveyed is actually "The Bible" as a collection.

  4. The connection of the finite to the infinite is a good way to put it. Legacy is a part in that. The knowledge that there will be a future beyond you.

  5. Could this Scripture be a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ as in he is the rock of our salvation, the One we are hidden in?

    2 Samuel‬ ‭22:3‬ ‭ESV‬‬

my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence.

    Psalm‬ ‭27:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.

    Matthew‬ ‭27:60‬ ‭ESV‬‬
and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut in the rock. And he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away.

    Matthew‬ ‭16:18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Christ made the way for us to come to God.

  6. "What we are looking for is what is looking" – Saint Francis of Asissi

  7. I’m going to have to think about that bit at the end, “god manifests himself all the way to the end and it looks like the crucifixion”.

  8. A very modern flavor of games infusing the ancient ideas of death, transformation, freedom, surrender…

  9. Jordan apparently has been playing a lot of video games lately

  10. 6:23 I think the answer here is like, God could not play the game of being a mortal (or unveil himself through Christ) without playing the game “fully” or “to its limit” or in an any half-measure. Therefore it had to be such a participation in the game which went so “all-in” that it “broke” the game itself, restarted it so-to-speak. And because that manifestation was as a player in the “old” game, it had to die with it. In a way I guess this implies that if Christ returns it would have to be in another form that we cannot even conceive of (it wouldn’t simply be some kind of “repeat”).

  11. "Wax on, wax off…" is another example of what Jonathan is talking about. The Karate Kid was given these partial manifestations of karate, veiled as pointless work, because it's impossible to consciously absorb karate as a whole.

  12. Is God great? he choses how he will reveal to Moses his request and does so, so Moses will understand his request…and these men play with the knowledge.

  13. I think a practical way to understand this fundamental principle of the existence of the relationship between the infinite and the finite, therefore of understanding the existence of reality itself, is the situation in which someone decides to choose to go on a vacation.
From an almost infinite number of destinations one is chosen and all the efforts made to go to the chosen place depend on two aspects.
On the one hand, you voluntarily and consciously give up (sacrifice) all other possible destinations, including the possibility of not going on any vacation, and on the other hand, you dedicate yourself to the chosen option, and here is the interesting part, namely, every step taken in the direction of that choice, starting with the organization and ending with the actual end of the vacation means a staged removal (wrapping/sacrifice) from the initial infinite potential of destinations.

And the moment you arrive at the chosen destination, there you encounter an infinite palette of possibilities through which you can practically spend your vacation and depending on the choices made (sacrificing stages made voluntarily and consciously) the quality of that vacation is determined. Paradoxically, vacation is the result of relinquishing an initial state and the results are fulfilling.
Returning from vacation follows the same pattern.

  14. I wouldn't try playing games, simple is best haha. Adam/Eve became naked and aware of their sins, as their perception was opened, something they had not been aware of…. they created separation by breaking trust…. (a veil is a wee curtain, easy to move aside and open to walk through… the veil was lifted)
God is omnipresent love, something we have no capacity to fathom. Maybe the answer requires a medative with God approach rather than an intellectual one. We know what God wants, a long-term plan of truth, light and love…. (across many cultures and apparent in the way jesus came and what he stood for) some might say a world without sin would be boring. Maybe that's the problem. ❤ who wants to submit to God's will without question? Because that is what's asked. Faith he knows best ❤

  15. Great thoughts, Jonathan. Thanks. Although it’s also sad to see vicious neocon warmongers like Prager, Shapiro and, of late it seems, Peterson, still dominating the YouTube landscape, men who are much more beholden to the political state of Israel (not the Biblical “state”), the material Zionist and apartheid manifestation of the “promised land”. Torah Jews can explain it better than I can, as you know.

  16. Why Jesus becomes the perfect Mediator in comparision to every other mediation of God?

  17. This video should have been cut 20 seconds sooner.

  18. What if God is our One True self, therefore having no identity. It is said when you meet GOD you fall in love. So we fall in love with the Oneness we all are. All is one just viewed through different perspectives do to the previous input, upbringing, etc…
I think this is why those whom suffer are closest to liberation. It spurs them on to ask themselves the WHY?.

  19. “The strike’s only survivor was Jouda’s year-old niece Milissa, whose mother had gone into labor during the attack and was found dead beneath the rubble, the heads of her lifeless twin newborns emerging from her birth canal.”

Pontificate about where god was when these brutal acts played out.

  20. This would have been better if Jay Dyer was included.

  21. Jonathan is the smartest man in the room..no doubt

  22. Can we just get away from Juedo neurotic mythology? It was literally made for Jews. Not gentiles. Who is their audience?

  23. So the Christians accept the legitimacy and the symbolic significance of things being veiled but Muslims are "misogynistic" or having a tradition of veiling women? How do you not see the irony in that?

  24. The character of God is found in Ali and Jesus

  25. G-d is visible and audible to those of good spirit.

  26. There's a lot of men sitting at that table that I have learned a lot from. Men who are far smarter than me. But with that being said, unfortunately I fear that a lot of times people try to make statements that seem so profound because they think they're the first ones to come up with it or that they've unlocked something that's been hidden otherwise.

The answer is right in the text! “You cannot see my face, for humans cannot see me and live.” God remains veiled because if his presence were to be on this earth we would all die. A sinful depraved world cannot stand in front of a holy righteous God. That is the answer why. God in his mercy remains veiled. Everyday that he does is a day to repent and place your faith in Jesus Christ. Cuz ultimately we know what happens at his second coming. Judgment. So we should be grateful for those that we know and love and pray for to be saved that God has remained veiled today and has not rightly destroyed us as we deserve.

  27. Look up Martin Luther's distinction between deus absconditus vs deus revelatus in regard to his theology of the cross (theologia crucis).

  28. Look up John Kleinig's article on "God's Self-Localization"

  29. Lol I bet the Orthodox part of Pageau on the inside snapped a pencil in half when Dr. Peterson said the Catholics invented kenosis.

  30. I’ve come to understand God has a sense of humour and he mooned Moses just a bit when he showed him his back side. Like casual plumbers crack maybe. Thats why its through Moses I feel like I’ve come to know the character of God the most.
No other human saw God almighty in as much Glory as Moses did.

  31. We are the ones hiding from him. Seek and yee shall find knock and shall be open unto you.

  32. Because that is what faith is. When you have that open mind, you see when He works in your life.

  33. I wake up in the morning and open my eyes and I see god, everywhere. Maybe you are too busy looking for a man on a cloud to see whats right in front of your face

  34. It's almost as if this word nobody can define refers to sheer nothingness

  35. Because he's not real? Sometimes things aren't invisible, they really just don't exist.

  36. I've never in my life felt like God was hiding. I've hid plenty of times, but not God.

  37. There's a myth about Zeus committing adultery and granting a wish to the girl. She wishes to see his true form and dies. However in another myth about Arachne insulting Athena the goddess transforms from an old woman into her true self but Arachne doesn't die. What's the meaning of this?

  38. One cannot smoothly edit an outro cutting through Ben Shapiro's sentences. Nice try.

  39. It's interesting this came up this morning in my feed because my most recent upload is about seeing God. 🙏💖

  40. In one of my most visionary states, i realized that God is playing hide and seek with us. Very beautiful. Catch Him if you can! 😂❤🙏

  41. God is a Mind Jack, I begged God to help me and my mind was taken over, i can't help myself so I beg others, I need help its life threatening but no one cares

  42. Why would you speculate about this? I do not think it's necessary.
