I always thought it was funny that they took Fonzie's black leather jacket away, and replaced with the brown one because they said the black one made him look like a hoodlum… lol!
I can't say this enough but money destroys everything that's beautiful. The first two season's of Happy Days were worthy of American Grafitti. The Fonz was cool. You had as many outside shots as inside shots, it was like you were really there in the 50's… then the ratings started to go down, so they begin to slowly cheapen the show. In the third season, the Fonz becomes the center of attention and the ratings start going through the roof. Now ….! When the ratings are at an all time high do they improve the show? Of corse not. The cash flow is guaranteed so by season 4 and 5 Richie, Ralph and Potsie don't even bother with wardrobe and neither does the Fonz, you've got 70's haircuts and bellbottoms, you've got aviator shirt collars and the band when they play at Arnolds in a lot of situations there's an invisible drum set with an invisible drummer. Talk about ruining something amazing.
I like his black leather jacket better than the brown one they gave him later on. And I like the more realistic weathered darker jeans more than the brand new looking light colored jeans that he had with the brown jacket. Yuck, I hate light colored jeans. He looks more realistic here.
Love happy days..first 3 seasons..fonzie..was fonzie..the letterman sweaters on the guys..pat morita..as arnold..I liked al..but lived Mr..myoggi..lol… fonzie..to the rescue…
Fonz was alil before my time, however, I still swing a 4 leg chair around backwards before I sit in it to this very day… I recently saw the episode when he knocked down off the wall the "whites only" sign on in dinner, class act Fonz, that racist shit has no home here… Stay up ya'll!
Anybody else notice that the set was different early on…the door where you come in wasn't the same…and the entrance to the restrooms was a little different
Ah that poor dude was smurfin' a turd and Fonzie going to send him a couple of blocks to the gas station? That was meaner than punching Richie in the face…

Oh my God I used to love this show! On Tuesday nights…(this aired at 7pm) We used to have girls night at the school and all the girls went and we had activities and food. It would begin at 7:00 pm… We would always be late however because I would be sitting in front of the TV sayin… "No I don't want to go, I wanna watch Happy Days!!" π―π€£ (I stopped goin!!)
I can't believe Fonzie pussied out, talking about Starter Girls and loopholes… typical self-proclaimed tough guy backing down.
They never did explain what happened to that carhop Wendy. She disappeared just like Chuck Cunningham did as if they didnβt exist.
I always thought it was funny that they took Fonzie's black leather jacket away, and replaced with the brown one because they said the black one made him look like a hoodlum… lol!
I do believe this was the first of many times that the iconic term "nerd" was used on Happy Days. It was much more of an insult than it is today.

Even if the door didnt hit Ritchie….Fonz wasnt gonna hit him…

"I don't waste my punches on nerds"
Come on, Fonz. If you gotta have your girl watched, then she's a girl not worth keeping.

who is the blond actress in this vid?
Fonz is a more than a real friend. Most guys would get rid of a friend that hits on their girlfriend.
Anybody else notice that the set was different early on…the door where you come in wasn't the same…and the entrance to the restrooms was a little different

Fonz may have been cool but he was dangerous. Wouldn't wanna be near a guy like that.
This fonz looks more greaser-ish with this jacked, wish they keep that instead of the boring brown one
I loved these earlier episodes. Fonzie was more of a hoodlum. I was so in love with Fonzie when I was young π₯°π₯°π₯°
A gurl from new jersey ππππ
Misty Rowe kissed Richie. π
Richie and Fonz had that thing going!!!
What a disappointment the Fonz turned out to be with his radical lefty way of life and thinking. If I knew back then I never would've tuned in.

Henry Winkler created a character that will NEVER die…LONG LIVE "THE FONZ"!
I grew up watching this show in the '70's. I can't believe we thought it was cool to have an office in a men's room. I mean, people crap in there.
