  1. This is excellent stuff, making you think a layer deeper

  2. Wooow, these 3 rules changed my whole game instantly. I am back to enjoying it.

  3. Great video thanks! Iā€™m always playing too passively

  4. This will help my game – which isn't saying much šŸ¤”

  5. I agree with the 1st rule 100%, but into the certain position maybe we can have some compensation for it, because we are going to create isolated pawn.

  6. I am a beginner and I am not saying this is the best option but at 5:50 you could have moved your pawn at h7 to h6 so their bishop would have to take pawn but if i did the rook would take the bishop if I am wrong please correct me

  7. Offense is defense, and defense is the most important thing. Makes sense but also feels like it doesn't.

  8. I'd never heard "to take is a mistake" until you said it…and just by following that one thing, I've been getting stronger. Now I ask the question…am I helping my opponent? Does my opponent want to get rid of this piece because it is hindered? I love it. Thanks!

  9. I had that "what the eff just happened" face when the moves were revealed in the end… !

  10. Black and white are both missing a pawn and It doesn't seem lime them being captured was possible

  11. Iā€™m a complete newcomer to this so much detail but very interesting

  12. 8:32 canplay Qa5+ then wecan go for pressure into our opponent

  13. 4:45 "How do you play here if you are black?" Botez gambit! Hang the queen by moving the knight.

  14. 7:26 I found a really nice move here Nxe4 with the idea that if they take your queen you take their knight forcing them to give up their queen too and the opportunity to castle and like that the king is unsafe and you can win tempo easily
Edit: you explained another move similar to mine but I'm really happy with my find
Edit: my move was not as good as I thought it'd be because I also need to sacrifice my right to castle sadly

  15. Wow this is a fantastic video. Very very helpful for someone just getting into chess like myself, you really helped me understand some of the hidden nuances of chess besides just moving pieces one turn at a time!!

  16. Hilarious, next game i played after watching this video, skipped eating a pawn and created a small problem instead. My opponent got confused and committed a blunder. Game over.

  17. Where can i download this game it's nice, what's it name on play store

  18. Best chess channel on YouTube. Practical advice with examples that is actionable and works for many cases and you don't just play games. Thank you! I just reached 1600 and I am improoving very fast.

  19. What i remember from my chess coach: Always check the king it might be mate.šŸ˜‚

  20. – Avoid unnecessary exchanges (0:17)

    – Actively challenge your opponent with attacking moves (3:03)

    – Counter-attack when under pressure (4:35)

    – Calculate forcing moves in tense positions (7:40)

  21. Ok I understand the first 2 but the third straight up brain fucked me šŸ¤Æ wtf

  22. this is a big help, I finally reach 700 elo, before i was stuck at 1k elo

  23. Your Teachings are Good but Practical knowledge with higher level players is some how more important …… so will you able to Beat high level Bots like Danya and Make Video Of your experience?

  24. 6:13 I understand why it would be helpful to be thinking "how can I attack". But isn't this a bit counterintuitive? Considering that you should focus on developing your pieces and not move a piece more than once in the opening? When does that rule become an exception?

  25. Thanks for the great video. It was really helpful to take is a mistake is good advice.

  26. Just want to say you are my favorite chess youtuber. Everytime I watch you my games go better.
